Patient Access is a comprehensive platform that connects you to essential healthcare services whenever you need them. With Patient Access, you can conveniently book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions, and explore a wide range of local pharmacy services.

Excitingly, Patient Access now offers a new feature that allows you to create an account without linking it to your UK GP practice. This means you can enjoy the following benefits:

 <li>Search for symptoms and access informative patient articles when you're feeling unwell</li>
 <li>Self-refer to various NHS services, including talking therapies, sexual health support, antenatal care, and drug and alcohol addiction services</li>
 <li>Access over 30 services provided by your local community pharmacy and book appointments directly through the app</li>
 <li>Book face-to-face or video appointments for a range of healthcare services such as physiotherapy and counseling</li>
 <li>Access and read expert medical advice and healthy living tips</li>
 <li>Enjoy quick and secure sign-in using Touch or Face ID</li>
 <li>Easily check if you can link your account to your GP</li>
</ul>

If you are able to link your Patient Access account to your GP practice, you'll have even more features at your disposal where they are made available by your practice:

<ul>
 <li>Book face-to-face or remote online appointments with your GP, nurse, or clinician at a time that suits you</li>
 <li>Request repeat prescriptions online and conveniently have them delivered to your preferred pharmacy</li>
 <li>View your medical record, including test results, allergies, and immunizations</li>
 <li>Securely share your medical record with healthcare professionals of your choosing without contacting your practice</li>
 <li>Take care of your loved ones by booking appointments and repeat prescriptions on their behalf</li>
 <li>Message your GP directly from within Patient Access, whether you're at home or on the move</li>
 <li>Book remote video consultations with your GP, nurse, or clinician where enabled by your practice</li>

It's important to note that to enjoy the GP-linked features in Patient Access, you must be a registered patient at a participating practice.
